As you may already know, we’re holding our Annual General Meeting from 5 to 7 PM on October 25th and you, as a Harvest Noon member, are invited! This meeting involves the election of a new board of directors, an overview of our operations and finances, and the ratification of changes we have made to our bylaws. The AGM is a great chance to get to know the community better, give your input, and contribute to the governance of the organization — an important part of being a co-op member! We hope that many people come out to ensure that Harvest Noon continues to represent the needs and desires of the community it serves. If you are not already a member, visit us at the cafe, or sign up at the AGM.
All Harvest Noon members and volunteers are encouraged to attend the AGM, regardless of their previous involvement with our organization. As a co-operative, we are run by our members, and your input helps us better ensure that we are serving your needs.
Check out our AGM Information Package for all the details. It includes the agenda for the meeting, information about our bylaws and election procedures, and a brief overview of our financial information. We have also attached the package to this email, if you wish to have it as a separate file.
If you have any questions or comments, please let us know––you can reply here, or shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see you there!
